INTERNATIONAL FILM BUSSINESS AWARDS (IFBA)

Initiated in association with Indywood Film Market (IFM), International Film Business Awards (IFBA) is organised to honor the commitment, passion and excellence of distinct film personalities, including film marketers, producers, distributors, production houses, exhibitors who play a significant part in the success of a film.

The IFBA awards will be presented during the Indywood Film Carnival scheduled at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad starting 24 – 27th September 2016.

Indywood 2015

The First edition of South Asia's biggest film souk, Indywood, was organised in Cochin starting 15 to 19 November 2015. This 5 day unique film fiesta opened doors to creative business facilitating our film industry to grow, excel and provide its worthwhile contribution to world cinema. The 5 day extravaganza, created history in the field of entertainment providing event delegates a larger than life and never before experience. The film festival at All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) brought together the best of both worlds. Around 135 movies from 47 countries were screened across 6 screens, alongside festival’s thematic showcases. Indywood Film Market – an exciting Film Trade exhibition – initiated exhibitions, where buying and selling of international films, devices or services became flexible. The film market provided a platform to delegates to targeted connections and make new discoveries through niche exhibit categories. The event also saw Informative and extensive Panel Discussions and entertaining workshops which elicited fresh ideas and brought in a new perspective on issues and topics. Indywood became a package deal which came in with much excitement, infotainment. While to honor the film business strategists, the first ever International Film Business Awards (IFBA) was conducted during the inaugural day of the event, the fiesta concluded with Golden Frame Awards to honour the finest performances at the All lights India International film festival.
