 The Consulate of Maldives in Kerala Deputy Consul Jaadhulla Hussain Thaufeeg will be the special invitee.

Kochi (08-02- 2018): Indywood has announced the awards for journalists and media houses for best reportage on third edition of Indywood Film Carnival held at Ramoji Film City from December 1 to 4 last year.

The prestigious Indywood Film Carnival Journalism Awards, a new initiative to promote film journalism, comprises a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a plaque and a citation. 10 billion US dollar Project Indywood backed by 2000 Indian billionaires and corporate is organising the award ceremony.

Patricio Burbano V (Wall Street Journal), Sathish Dhandaveni (ETV), Bappa Majumdar (Times of India), HyderabadOnline.in, Deepak Dharmadam (Amrita TV), Sudhakar Reddy (Eenadu Daily), M Dinu Prakash (Manorama News), Dilip Sethi (Bollywood Dunia), R Jayesh (Malanadu TV) and Lakshmaiah (Express News) were declared as the winners of the first edition of Indywood Film Carnival Journalism Awards.

Meanwhile International Business Times, Chandu S Nair (Doordarshan Malayalam), BV Mahalakshmi (Financial Express), CG Chandramohan (Mathrubhumi) and Anil Kumar B Nair (Goa Malayali) bagged special appreciation.

Minister for Labour and Excise T. P. Ramakrishnan will inaugurate the Indywood Film Carnival Journalism Awards tomorrow (9 th February 2018) at Technopark-based Aries Epica Studio at 3:00 PM. Rashed Khamis Al Shemeili, Charge d' affairs, Consulate of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be the guest of honour. The Consulate of Maldives in Kerala Deputy Consul Jaadhulla Hussain Thaufeeg will be the special invitee.

Kerala State Film Development Corporation Managing Director Deepa D Nair, Santhigiri Ashram Organizing Secretary Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi, Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Chairman M. Vijayakumar, Tourfed Managing Director Shaji Madhavan, Indywood Founder Director cum Chairman and CEO of UAE-based Aries Group Sohan Roy will attend. Eminent personalities from various walks of life also will grace the function.

Indywood has already honoured journalists from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Goa, Chennai, Kerala and Hyderabad with Excellence Awards.
