Mill Valley Film Festival to honor Brie Larson

Brie Larson, renowned American actress known for her roles in movies like Sleepover, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World , The Trouble with Bliss, 21 Jump Street and Short Term 12 will be honored at the Mill Valley Film Festival which will be conducted from October 08- 18, 2015. This year marks the 38th edition of this festival, and the organizers are trying hard to make it special in all means.

Brie Larson’s latest movie to hit theaters was ‘Trainwreck’. The movie featured Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton and Colin Quinn in lead roles. The film was released on July 17, 2015, and it was well received by both critics and audiences alike. The film even fetched a decent sum from the United States Box Office.

Brie is now awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Room’ which is being directed by Lenny Abrahamson. The movie will showcase the story of a woman who was held captive in a room with her daughter for more than five years.
